Maryam Al Suwaidi, Founder - Design talk , An Interior Design Studio

Maryam Alsuweidi, holds a Master’s degree in interior design from Utah State University, Utah, USA. Through her college years, she worked as arts and crafts instructor, Photoshop instructor and arts workshops supervisor and participated in various volunteer jobs in the art field. In 2010 she started her professional career as a freelancer designing for residential, commercial, and corporate projects. Until 2012, partnering with her husband, together they established the Interior Design studio (Design Talk) as a studio for creative and innovative designs. Maryam has been listed under the Interior Design power list of 2014 by DesignMena and recognized by many editorials such as Commercial Interior Design Magazine, Bint Alkahleej magazine and latest by Villa88 magazine. As an artist, Maryam has participated in Emirati expressions exhibition 2015 and Design days Dubai 2016 showcasing her creative Islamic art bench design. She has participated in Ramadan Art Bazaar 2013, as well as Abu Dhabi Art in 2014 with furniture pieces that showcases Islamic art with an innovative twist. Her mission is to continue producing interior concepts with modern Islamic designs to express her passion for Islamic designs and shaping it to fit our modern century.

Sulaiman Al Thehli, Founder - Design talk , An Interior Design Studio

Sulaiman Al Thehli graduated from Utah state university, USA, with a Masters degree in business administration (MBA) and a bachelor’s degree in marketing. He has an eye for design and marketing, and he always keeps himself up-to-date with exhibitions, seminars and events that relates to his business. In 2012, Sulaiman decided to join forces with Maryam Al Suwaidi, to open up their creative studio (Design Talk) managing and designing for commercial, residential and exhibition projects. Sulaiman is the Managing director and has been overseeing full projects and handling the execution of it. Design Talk is a place where he can embrace his passion for design and show his appreciation for creative interiors.
